Finding a suitable method of osteopathic treatment can be difficult. Barwon Osteopathy and Pilates offers one-on-one consultations that are gentle and pain-free. A comprehensive consultation is an essential first step in designing an individual treatment plan that would benefit you.
Our practitioners are skilled in various methods of osteopathic technique and are all Pilates trained. We generally use techniques that are gentle and non-invasive.
Combining the Osteopathic technique with the knowledge of Pilates allows practitioners to provide advice on strengthening and conditioning to improve long term rehabilitation, not just treat the immediate problem. This way, we can do our best to give a solution to your musculoskeletal problem to reduce its chance of recurrence.
Osteopathy has been used for hundreds of years and is a proven beneficial treatment that’s highly safe, gentle and effective. We don’t resort to prescribing drugs; instead, we focus on exercise, posture, diet and gentle osteopathic techniques.
Osteopathic treatments aren’t just for injuries and pain relief. An osteopath may assess your well-being and offer suggestions for a more positive and healthier lifestyle. We can help people of all ages, from children and teenagers to adults and the elderly.
